Founded in 2014, Joyride is a Toronto-based micromobility software startup for scooter-sharing and bike-sharing operators. Their platform powers city-focused and private B2B fleets of scooters, bikes, e-bikes and mopeds through a branded user app, field operations apps, backend management, hardware-agnostic vehicle integrations, long-term rentals, payment gateway and more.
Joyride was looking to quickly scale their lead volume while also building brand awareness and equity in their industry as they grew from an early-stage startup to an established name.
Over the years of working with Joyride, we’ve refreshed their website twice, run ads on Google Search, Facebook, Instagram, and Linked In, and focussed efforts on boosting organic traffic through high-value content publishing. We’ve been able to achieve a huge increase in leads generated while diversifying the channels which they come from so we don’t end up with all our eggs in one basket.
The main takeaway was that the user base responded strongly to referrals and thought leadership. So, we worked to create case studies, referral programs, and whitepapers + reports that we gated for soft conversions.
