What’s the Weather?
The Weather Network came to us with a critical challenge: users were not opting in to share first-party data through the app. Without clear value or a smooth experience, they risked losing essential data needed to personalize forecasts, power features, and maintain long-term engagement. They needed an in-app journey that made the value obvious and opting in effortless.





The Solution
We redesigned the entire opt-in experience using product-led UX principles. This included a new onboarding flow, in-app notifications, and contextual prompts that explained why data mattered and how it improved the daily forecast experience. We paired this with new personalization features, giving users a weather profile tailored to their routines, locations, and interests.
